The puzzles pieces in this set are intentionally chunky for an easy grip. Once your child is ready to begin exercising the pincer grasp, the little knobs serve as an alternative way to hold the puzzle pieces.

Single Shape Puzzles
Love it! Nicely made and you can tell it was crafted from high quality wood!
Real wood toys are kind of expensive, but I found these to be of great quality given the price! The edges are smooth and they are not too heavy that if thrown by a toddler, it might cause harm or damage. I also like that each shape is its own individual toy; makes the activity more challenging. This is a good addition to my toddler's growing montessorri inspired toy collection!
I was blown away by the quality

My LO (8 months) loves these puzzles. They are smooth, sturdy and can withstand getting thrown on the ground. The great thing about these puzzles is that they grow with your LO. At 6 months, he would take the pieces out and put them in his month. At 8 months, he drops them on the ground and listens to the different sounds the different shapes make. As he gets older, we can mix up the pieces and have him match.

Getting Started
Getting Started
Start with just the circle puzzle. Slowly demonstrate removing and inserting the puzzle piece from the base. As your child gains mastery, introduce the square and triangle shapes to increase the level of challenge. Reinforce shape recognition with a mystery bag! Separate the shape puzzle pieces from their bases. Put the shape puzzle pieces into an opaque bag. Invite your child to select one of the base pieces and then without looking, reach into the bag to identify its matching puzzle piece using only the sense of touch.
