Is there any issue with the books toppling or falling off the shelf?

NO! Our new and improved late 2023 design now features deeper topple-free shelves that securely hold children's books, both small and large!

How many books can this bookshelf hold?

Each level holds two standard-sized or three smaller children's books so in total, anywhere between 10 and 15 books.

Why use a front-facing bookshelf?

Front-facing bookshelves provide a visual display of the book covers, thus encouraging independence and exploration as babies, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to choose books that interest them.

Nice bookshelf but couldn’t use included screws

The assembled bookshelf is really nice but required a run to Home Depot to buy new screws (#8 wood screws, 1.5”). The included screws used a hex driver, and there was a hex driver in the box, but none of the sizes seemed to fit. My guess is that the screws were meant to use a 3mm hex, but somehow were manufactured to be between 2.5-3mm. Those screws are unusable; will probably collect dust in our garage until I finally give up and toss them.

I use this shelf everyday for my son's books. He loves being able to see the covers of each book and choose what he wants to read!

Beautiful Bookshelf!

Let me start off my saying this bookshelf is so beautiful! The first thing I noticed when we opened the box was the quality of the wood. Everything looks as though it was meticulously hand picked when designing to make sure the quality of this bookshelf was a priority. Putting it together was easy to follow and quick. We put it in our soon to be nursery and it was the perfect size! It’s heavier and sturdy so I know my baby will be safe when she eventually climbs/uses it to stand up to pick out her books! Love that it promotes independence and options as well. I would love to buy another for my toddler- he loves it as well!
