Inspire your child’s literacy journey with the Montessori & Me Movable Alphabet—a versatile tool for writing, reading, and spelling. Rooted in Montessori principles, this classic material encourages hands-on learning, empowering children to express themselves through "written" language well before mastering pen or pencil skills. Our Movable Alphabet includes 10 letters of each vowel and 5 letters of each consonant for a total of 155 letters.
Montessori alphabets distinguish between vowels and consonants using blue and red colors, respectively. This helps young children internalize the differences between vowels and consonants.
The Movable Alphabet helps children develop language skills by allowing them to physically touch and arrange letters to create words and sentences. It promotes letter recognition, phonics, spelling, and grammar understanding.

Movable Alphabet Montessori Wooden Letters
The quality on these is so outstanding especially for the price! The wood is beautifully finished and the packaging is incredible. It also has tiny ziplocs for all the letters and the correct letter at the bottom of the box. So glad I got this. Sure, you could find cheaper versions on Amazon but this is so well made, you won't regret it.
where can i find this product in france please?
Movable Alphabet Montessori Wooden Letters
We love this! My 3 and 5 year old like spelling out their name and site words with this. Sometimes it just using the letter J as a fishing hook to pick up other letters out of a cube but that's okay too! We leave this out all the time for them on the shelf for full access and they gravitate to it a lot. I was worried the thrill of the new toy would wear off but we introduced it in December and 4 months later they still choose it when they head to the shelf. Highly recommend this one!
I loved that it comes with extra letters since my son loves to use the letters in his nameI can’t believe he caught on so quicklyJust takes continuous practice/play

Getting Started
Getting Started
Invite your child to use the Movable Alphabet by setting the opened box in front of them. Ask your child to find the letters that correspond with different sounds. For example, "Can you find 'buh' as in bus?" Continue practicing finding and indentifying letters with your child until they feel confident with the Movable Alphabet. Upon completion of the excercise, have your child put the letters back in the box in their proper compartments.
