This is a story of two passionate dads on a heartfelt mission. A mission to bring Montessori home by offering top-notch educational materials to parents and educators who want the absolute best for their little ones.

Mike

Mike is an engineer, designer, and entrepreneur... but above all, he is most proud to be a dad to two incredible little girls, Kylie and Mia. Inspired by his wife, Ashley, and her Montessori education YouTube channel (Hapa Family), he set out to unite his woodworking hobby and Montessori interests. What initially started as a small project, creating Montessori materials for Kylie and Mia, quickly blossomed into a vision to spread this love and joy with families everywhere. 

Andrew 

Andrew is Mike’s long-time friend and entrepreneurial business partner. The two nerdy engineers have worked side-by-side for a number of years, successfully co-founding businesses that align with their greatest passions and interests. Andrew recently became a dad to a newborn of his own, little Aliza. She was introduced to the world in April 2020. As a new dad, Andrew naturally gravitated towards Montessori methods for Aliza’s upbringing.

Together, Mike and Andrew created Montessori & Me with the support of Ashley as a creative director and advisor. The products are made with the utmost care from high quality, eco-friendly and sustainable materials, and are designed true to Montessori principles. Montessori & Me strives to make Montessori education easily accessible to families in each and every home.
